‘Clouds’ is the latest track from Marie Dahlstrom, a Danish singer and producer with an eye for detailed beats and relatable lyricism. This is a neo-soul track at it’s core, with influence from modern R&B creeping its way in. Smooth, funky beats sit beneath those warm chords, which combine to form the perfect bed for the joyous, layered lead vocal lines. On the presence of Delleile Ankrah on the track, Dahlstrom says: “Working with Delleile on this, was so natural and honest. It was an evening during the last part of the pandemic, and everything just came together so smooth and organically, with Dan Diggas on the production.
